Jeff Vanke for Congress • Virginia 6th District

Roanoke, Virginia, age 40. Jeff is an author and a budget consultant, with experience as a small business manager. He has a Ph.D. in political history, and he is a former history professor. His books include non-fiction and fiction. “Europeanism and European Union” was published recently. “Snow Job” is a manuscript spy novel set in Nazi Germany.

Vanke’s business experience includes especially budgeting and strategic planning — exactly the areas where our country needs new leadership. That is why Jeff developed a balanced budget spreadsheet and other policies to lay the foundation for a stable, prosperous, and happy American future.

Jeff is an Eagle Scout and a community volunteer in the PTA, Cub Scouts, and church choir, and a Sunday school teacher (St. John’s Episcopal of Roanoke). Jeff is a husband, father, and homeowner.
